Lakewood Walks Main Street

More than 150 employees of Lakewood Hospital and members of the community participated in a wellness walk on August 22, 2007.  Local businesses were the "rest stops" and anyone who walked was eligible for a $200 raffle prize!

Walkers were provided with cold water on a warm day.

Much thanks to the volunteers at the Lakewood Hospital tent.

Everyone went home from the walk with a goodie bag!

Thanks to Mary Anne Crampton, Susan Grimberg, Dottie Buckon and Amy Jamieson Petonic for their leadership and work to make this event so successful!

And much thanks to Main Street Lakewood, City of Lakewood, Lakewood Public Library, Geiger's Lakewood, Souper Market, Lion and Blue, Hixon's Flowers, Deja Vu, Blue Onion Take-out, and Winking Lizard Lakewood for their support of this event to encourage people who live and/or work in Lakewood to WALK as part of their daily routine.
