| In the Fall of 2005, Cleveland Clinic entered into a dynamic partnership with Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) aimed at both alleviating healthcare worker shortages and providing career opportunities for Cleveland Clinic employees. The project has been funded, in part, by a three-year, 1.86 million dollar U.S. Department of Labor grant, awarded to Tri-C under the President’s Community-Based Job Training Grants. Cleveland Clinic has been proud to be a strategic partner in this endeavor and has generously committed significant resources to this project to ensure its success. The project has been successful in educating Cleveland Clinic employees to be registered nurses and radiologic technologists who have gone on to work throughout the Cleveland Clinic health system. |
